Description: The bill creates a property tax credit (the "Inflation Cap Credit") for property owners in school districts on the 20-mill floor if the year-over-year increase in property taxes due to the 20-mill floor after a reappraisal or update exceeds the GDP deflator growth. The credit will limit the taxes due under the 20-mill floor to the growth rate of the GDP deflator.
