Status: First hearing in House Local Government (April 2, 2025)

Description: The bill requires all community reinvestment areas (CRAs) to receive approval from the applicable public school districts. Under current law, only CRA exemptions for commercial and industrial projects need to have the school district approve the CRA. The bill requires district approval for residential CRA exemptions as well.
