Description: The bill requires the Department of Job and Family Services to provide a supplemental benefit for SNAP recipients who are aged 60 years or older and whose monthly SNAP allotment is less than $50. The supplemental benefit is equal to the amount necessary to provide the recipient with $50 in benefits per month.

The bill appropriates $12.5 million in SFY 2026 and $21.4 million in SFY 2027 for the program.
