Description: The bill requires the Department of Job and Family Services to adopt rules concerning cybersecurity and digital service related to EBT cards and mobile payments under SNAP. The rules must, at minimum, meet the same safety guidelines used in the private sector and federal agencies require that for credit, debit, and other payment cards and mobile payments.

The Department is required to replace all EBT cards with chip-enabled cards within two years of the bill's effective date.

The Department must also provide a function on its website to allow SNAP recipients to report alleged fraudulent transactions.
