Status: Passed the House, 91-0 (May 28, 2025)

Description: The bill requires correctional facilities to provide female inmates with feminine hygiene products and showers at no cost and when needed, except in cases when the facility is in an emergency. 

While reviewing a similar bill in the 135th General Assembly, CCAO found that this is already the current practice, so the bill would have a minimal impact on jail operations and expenses.
