Description: The bill creates a veto mechanism that the General Assembly may use if the Governor or the Director of Job and Family Services enters into an agreement or issues an order to implement a voluntary program under federal law to increase unemployment benefits.

The General Assembly may disapprove of the entire order or parts by adopting a concurrent resolution. If a concurrent resolution is adopted, the order must be rescinded "as soon as practicable."
