Description: The bill requires the county auditor to transfer all dog registration fees paid by municipality residents to the municipality if it employs at least one dog warden, deputy, poundkeeper, or other employee who enforces dog control ordinances. The municipality must use the funds to compensate those implementing and enforcing dog control ordinances.

These funds are to come from the county dog and kennel fund. This bill does not change the requirement of the county auditor to transfer any surplus of $2,000 or greater from the fund each December to the county humane society.
