Description: The bill allows a board of county commissioners to create a water improvement district (WID) to facilitate, coordinate, fund, finance, construct, reconstruct, or repair water projects.

WIDs would be governed by a board of trustees consisting of the county sanitary engineer or, if no county sanitary engineer, the county engineer, and four members appointed by the county commissioners. Trustees are not compensated but may be reimbursed for expenses.
