Description: The bill creates a supplemental benefit allotment for Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) recipients if they meet certain criteria. The criteria are that the recipient is 60 years old or older and their monthly SNAP allotment is less than $50.

Those who qualify will receive a supplemental benefit allotment to bring their monthly SNAP allotment to $50. This essentially creates a $50 per month minimum for SNAP recipients aged 60 years or older.
