Description: Modifies the penalties for violations of accessible parking laws by, generally, making them civil penalties rather than criminal penalties and creates a statewide civil enforcement system for issuing tickets for such violations.
The bill also redirects fine money collected via accessible parking violations from 100% to the local entity (subject to usage restrictions) to 50% to the local entity (with no usage restrictions) and 50% to a newly-created state fund.
