Description: The bill expands eligibility for the full homestead exemption to surviving spouses of members of the uniformed services who were killed in the line of duty. "Uniformed services" is defined as the armed forces, the commissioned corps of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, and the commissioned corps of the Public Health Service.
