Status: Passed the Senate 24-7 (May 17, 2023), 2nd hearing in House Government Oversight Committee (June 13, 2023).

Description: The bill standardizes the fields that must be included in the Statewide Voter Registration Database, generally makes entries into the database a public record, and requires boards of elections to preserve all used and unused ballots for 81 days after a nonfederal election.

Other Notes: The provisions of this bill were included in the state operating budget (House Bill 33) and have become law.
