House Bill 193

Status: 2nd hearing in the House Agriculture Committee

Description: The bill allows, with some exemptions, townships and counties to regulate biosolid lagoons and biodigestion facilities through zoning and allows counties to approve or disapprove such facilities prior to the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency taking any actions on the permit, with some exceptions.

The bill also alters the requirements for land on which such facilities are located to qualify for CAUV valuation.
