Description: The bill establishes the 9-8-8 Administrator within the Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services and requires the position to work with ADAMHS boards and other local jurisdictions to designate and oversee crisis centers and mobile crisis teams.

Revenue from a monthly $0.10 charge on wireless service or VOIP subscribers, wireline customers, and retail sales of prepaid wireless services will be used to, among other purposes, for operating costs of crisis centers and hiring staff at local ADAMHS boards to oversee the program.
