House Bill 84

Status: 3rd Hearing in House Homeland Security Committee (March 29, 2023)

Description: The bill lowers the minimum age for a person to receive an original appointment as a police officer to 18 years old. The bill does not change the existing requirement that applicants pass a physical examination.
