Description: The bill prohibits law enforcement agencies from establishing a quota to use as the basis of evaluating, promoting, compensating, transferring, or disciplining an officer, to require or suggest an officer must or is expected to meet a quota, and from offering a benefit on the basis of an officer's quota.
The bill does not prohibit an agency from collecting, analyzing, and applying any information concerning the number of arrests made and citations issued to ensure an officer does not violate their legal obligation and from assessing the proportion of arrests made and citations issued by an officer.
