DESCRIPTION: Performance audits examine the efficiency and effectiveness of government programs and functions with the goal of making them better. While financial audits determine whether public funds are spent legally and managed in accordance with accounting principles, performance audits examine whether funds are spent wisely and if programs achieve their intended purpose. With more than 20 years of experience, Dorinda possesses a proven track record of increasing organizational effectiveness, shaping cultures, strengthening teams, and positioning clients for sustainability and growth. Early in her journey, Dorinda found a niche in launching and accelerating business consulting practices within organizations and institutions. With a passion for not only growing her employers’ consulting practices, but also driving unprecedented results for the clients with whom she partnered, Dorinda installed the processes, policies, systems, and service offerings to create a solid infrastructure on which to continue to build services and bottom lines for clients. Dorinda’s diverse employment background includes workforce, outreach, sales, and economic development in community colleges, manufacturing, and universities. Dorinda holds a Master's Degree from Muskingum University and a Bachelor's from Ohio State.
