Description: The bill requires local authorities to cooperate with the federal government in the enforcement of immigration laws and requires the state to withhold homeland security funding and Local Government Fund allocations to local governments found to be in violation of the law.
The bill also allows an individual harmed or the representative of an individual harmed by an offender in violation of federal immigration laws in a jurisdiction that voted to not enforce federal immigration laws to file a complaint and seek the removal from office of any public official who voted in favor of not enforcing federal immigration law.
