Description: The bill generally exempts certain records from the scope of "public records" that are obtainable via the Public Records Law. The records the bill exempts include records of past, current, and future work schedules and redaction requests of certain personal information on records made available on the internet.

The bill applies to current and former designated public service workers. These workers are defined in R.C. 149.43(A)(7) but include peace officers, parole officers, correctional employees, youth services employees, and more.

Other Notes: The Ohio Judicial Conference has provided proponent testimony.
