CCAO Welcomes Kyle Petty to the Policy Team

The County Commissioners Association of Ohio (CCAO) announces Kyle Petty has joined the association policy staff as legislative counsel.

Petty will be responsible for legislative advocacy and member services for policy areas spanning law enforcement, courts and corrections and other criminal justice issues.

“The association is thrilled to welcome Kyle to the CCAO policy team,” CCAO Executive Director Cheryl Subler said. “Kyle brings to the team years of legislative advocacy experience and a proven track record of results. Ohio’s counties will be well served by his talents.”

Prior to joining CCAO, Petty served as director of government relations for CHW Advisors. He also previously served as senior legislative liaison in the Office of Governor John Kasich; legislative director for the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction and the Ohio Department of Youth Services; and as an administrative and legislative aide in the Ohio Senate. A licensed attorney, Petty is also a partner in the Petty-Devlin Law Group, LLC.

Petty holds Bachelor of Arts and Juris Doctor degrees from Capital University.
