Ohio 9-1-1 Administrator Rob Jackson will give an update on the recent activity from the Ohio ESINet Steering Committee. The update will cover the recently approved Transition to Next Generation 9-1-1 (NG9-1-1) Ohio Revised Code recommendation and an update on the Federal 9-1-1 Grant. Additionally, he will offer a recap of other important activity from the Ohio 9-1-1 Program Office that directly affect the counties.

Speaker: Rob Jackson is the Ohio 9-1-1 Administrator. The Ohio 9-1-1 Program Office, a division of the Ohio Department of Administrative Services, began operations in 2015. Rob is a 25-year veteran of the Ohio State Highway Patrol and former commander of the Technology and Communication Services Section. Rob served as Ohio LEADS chair and Ohio AMBER Alert Advisory Committee chair, and also served as a member of the OHLEG Steering Committee and the Child Abduction Response Team Committee. He holds a Bachelor of Specialized Studies Degree from Ohio University and a Master of Public Administration Degree from Marist College.
