Description: The bill makes a number of redefinitions to properly distinguish all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) from utility vehicles (UTVs). Utility vehicles are made subject to the same registration requirements as ATVs and local governments are given authority to prohibit the use of UTVs on public streets and highways within its jurisdiction but does not permit the restrictions from being beyond those established by the state.
